Students who applied to Chico State for fall 2021 have received an email letting them know of the opportunity to apply for the 2021 North State Academic and Performance Scholarship for $1,500 from the Office of Admissions. They must submit a completed application by March 2, 2021. The person they list as a recommender must submit a letter on the student's behalf to email@example.com by March 10, 2021 to be considered for the scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded to a high school senior graduating from, or who has graduated from, a Lassen County High School pursuing an agriculture or agri-business career. The award will be based on leadership skills, a demonstrated commitment to the industry, grades and financial need. Finalists will be notified of the date, time, and place of an interview.

Tillie Brodie Memorial Scholarship This letter is to invite all qualified seniors at your school to apply for the Tillie Brodie Memorial Scholarship offered by Soroptimist International of Susanville.
This is a $500.00 scholarship for a student who is planning to achieve a degree in the field of Business. Applicant must continue to a Community College or University.

Qualifying Criteria: ▪ Student must be a graduating senior from a High School in Lassen County who plans to attend a Community College or a University to achieve a degree in the field of BUSINESS. ▪ Must have a GPA of 2.0 or better. Application should be in essay form and include: ▪ School activities in which you participated in; ▪ Non-school activities such as community service, employment, and/or church involvement; ▪ Name of college or trade school you plan to attend; ▪ Short paragraph on your future plans; ▪ Copy of your last quarter transcripts; and, ▪ Two Letters of Recommendation: ➢ One from a community member. ➢ One from a teacher/coach/staff at your high school.
2021 Honey Lake Valley Riders, Inc. SCHOLARSHIP $500
Criteria required for applying: Must be a graduating senior planning to attend college in the field of agriculture, farming, or veterinary science. Preference will be given to those who have been involved with Honey Lake Valley Riders, and/or who are focusing on a future of benefit to the equine industry.
